Samuel A. Cook, APNP

Sam Cook is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is practicing in cardiology. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX and earned his family nurse practitioner master’s degree from Frontier School of Midwifery and Nursing in Hyden, KY.

Sam’s medical interests include diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the heart to include ordering and interpreting test results and ordering medication. He also provides treatment for varicose veins.

While not at work Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and being outdoors in nature. He likes to travel and lived in Bolivia for over a year. He also enjoys staying active by playing basketball and is a member of his local YMCA.
